What sacrifices have you made in life?

I didn’t date for about 7-8 years while my daughters were growing up.

Initially, right after the divorce, I briefly dated 3 people.

Later, I decided it wouldn’t be good to expose my daughters to various potential partners.

While this may sound dramatic, or over the top, I was abused as a teen in my own home so I was worried about that happening to my daughters.

While it was a lonely time, it was healing and I got to enjoy my daughters as they grew into the amazing young women they are today.
