After writing my morning blog post, I laid down, and then I was like-I need to sweat. I need to feel my heart beating hard, and I need to come to life.
So, I got on my spin bike and did a 30-minute HIIT spin bike ride using my Apple+ app. It felt amazing. I was tired and energised at the same time.
Realised if I took a shower, I could make it across town to mid-day mass. So, made myself presentable and got to the church a little early. I listened to music that made me feel closer to God and I read a little bit on my Kindle. Sat there. Felt happy other people were there early to pray before mass.


Recently, I applied for a job and I’m not sure if I will get it. I was invited to round 3 interviews just a moment ago. It will fall on my birthday which is fine. But if I don’t get it, I’ll figure out a way to create structure and meet goals that challenge me. Sometimes I need an external nudge to keep going in the right direction.
There is a little snow on the ground; we have had very little snow this year as there is a drought. It was nice being out in the cool air and feeling energised from the workout. Spending time with God and other people felt so good, and I haven’t felt good like that in a long while.
Well, even though I made healthy food, my daughter is requesting something tastier. This will involve leaving to get her some tasty foods.
