Update & Gratitude

I’m beginning to feel better and growing more hopeful that things will continue to improve. Recently, I lost some weight that I had gained last year. Working to continue losing weight. Been getting some exercise in like riding my spin bike. Played tennis with my daughters a few times; we are planning to play tomorrow.

Started research for my book on maternal psychosis and am optimistic that I can complete the book by the end of August.

Trying to learn new software so I can design journals and sell them on Amazon and Lulu. I love the journal I bought for this year, but I want to design something helpful to people with mood disorders.

Decided against creating a YouTube channel. I get a lot of anxiety, and I don’t know that I can be confident enough to create video content. Maybe one day, but not right now.

Lately, I’ve experienced a lot of pain in my upper back, neck, and jaws. My hair has also been falling out. Recent labs show I have a vitamin D deficiency so I’m taking supplements now. My B12 was low normal which is odd considering I increased my intake of meat. So, I’ll get back on track taking a multivitamin that provides enough B12.

Even though this year has been challenging from the start, I’m proud that I’m resilient and can recover. I’m also becoming increasingly more grateful for all that I have. I think, for a time, I took things for granted. And, I feel bad about that.

I want to start blogging more regularly, as I had intended. Maybe writing about what I’m reading and doing will help me stay on track when I’m having a hard time.
